1937 Wyandotte, No. 205 Streamlined Airplane
Gorgeous pressed steel No. 205 Streamline Airplane from the Kaufman Collection. Green baked enamel main wing with red fuselage. From the Kaufman collection (owner of KB toys). Unsold store stock never played with. Streamlined design features 6 die cut windows, pilot window, and two doors. Two propellers, both triple blades, polished steel. This particular style was produced by Wyandotte from 1934-38 with white rubber tires. However black wooden tires were used only during 1937. Size: 5¼" fuselage, 7¼" wingspan Sold: May 2011
